Seeking New Destinations...

w
Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Our commitment to Worship:

•We are committed to worship that is God-focused.

•We are committed to worship that forms and sustains disciples.

•We strongly affirm our United Methodist liturgy, hymnody, and heritage as "home base" through this time that the church seeks to follow the risen Christ into new cultural and generational contexts.

•We will continue to interpret the basic and "official" worship resources of The United Methodist Church for the full range of worship approaches and styles of our churches.

•We are also committed to seeking out, making available, and creating the very best worship resources in preaching, liturgy, and music from a variety of contemporary styles, including praise and worship, contemplative, global and ethnic, ecumenical, gospel, and others.

•We welcome your questions, suggestions, sharing of experience, and resources in building this new section. (Note: We cannot post any picture, graphic, animation, clip, text, song, or other material unless the material is yours exclusively. Please do not submit materials that are under copyright or produced by someone else.)

•We do welcome your prayers for this shared venture of listening, learning, and leading in a time of dramatic change. May we all discover our roots and our wings. May we learn from the saints and visionaries to worship God in vital and faithful ways.
